We made it back to KC on the night of July 2nd. It was a long trip back, but we were able to rest up over the holiday weekend.
Overall, I really, really enjoyed the trip. We met some key people, made some great friendships, I learned a lot about healthcare in the developing world, learned how receptive people are to Jesus when they are receiving physical medical care, and overall learned a lot about what we are ultimately trying to do at INMED. I’m glad that I’ll now be able to relate a little bit better when I speak with medical students and healthcare professionals who have interest in serving internationally.
